Example: a recruitment agency enquiry

Tuesday, 9:40pm: one hiring manager, three agencies.

Example business. He typed the same enquiry into three agencies’ websites after work. The first useful reply got the call.

9:40 pm
Enquiry
“Hi, we need two warehouse supervisors in Western Sydney, starting within a month. Do you do permanent roles, and what are your fees?”
What's happening
9:40 pm
The assistant
“You’re chatting with Wattle Street Recruitment’s AI assistant. Yes, we fill permanent logistics roles across Western Sydney. Fees depend on the role, so a consultant confirms them on a short call. How many staff are on site, and which shifts?”
What's happening
9:43 pm
Enquiry
“About 80 staff over two shifts, and both roles are on days. Can someone call me this week?”
9:44 pm
The assistant
“Thanks. Priya places our logistics roles. She has Wednesday at 10am or Thursday at 2pm for a 20-minute discovery call. Which suits? I’ll need your name, company and email for the invite.”
What's happening
Result
He chose Wednesday at 10am, at 9:46. Booked before the other two agencies replied.
Example business: the name and details are made up. On Starter, the confirmation goes by email. How the chat assistant works →
From the example

It won’t quote fees you haven’t approved.

A fee question at 9:40pm usually waits until morning. Yours gets an answer the same minute: what you’ve approved it to say, and a booked call with your consultant for the rest. Nobody is quoted a number you didn’t set.

What it does

What it does, and what it hands to you.

It answers, qualifies and books the routine enquiries. Anything that needs your judgement comes straight to you.

What it does

The routine part of every enquiry

In seconds · Any hour · Every enquiry
Answers in seconds, any hour: web chat, email, Facebook and Instagram.
Answers from your own material: services, process, scope and approved fees.
Asks your qualifying questions, like role, size, budget and timing.
Books the discovery call in a free time, then emails a confirmation.
What it hands to you

The part that needs a person

Immediately · By your rule · Every time
Complaints and current client matters, word for word, the same hour.
Fees and scope you haven’t approved, like a custom project or a retainer.
Questions that need your advice, captured word for word, with a call booked.
Anyone who asks for you. It passes you the chat.
You choose where the line sits, and you can move it later. How booking works →
Ground rules

What it will never do.

Some enquiries need you, not an assistant. These rules are fixed, and a customer can’t talk it out of them.

Advice

Never gives professional advice

No legal, financial, tax or HR advice, however the question is put. It captures the question and books a call with you.
Fees

Never quotes fees you haven’t approved

It quotes only the fees and packages you’ve approved. Any other number comes from you, on the call.
Outcomes

Never promises outcomes

No promised placements or results. It explains how you work, not what the work will achieve.
Privacy

Never shares a client’s details with another

One client never sees another’s details. It follows the Privacy Act and the Spam Act. Data is hosted in the United States, not sold, and not shared for anyone else’s purposes.
Fixed rules, not settings. Some professions aren’t a fit at all. We don’t set it up for GP and medical, dental and orthodontic, legal, accounting and tax, insurance broking, or financial services, including mortgage and finance brokers. What it can get wrong, in our words →

Professional services questions

What firms ask before they start.

It writes naturally, in your firm’s name, and says it’s an AI assistant first. You test it before it answers a client. What clients mind is waiting until Monday for a reply.

No. It only offers times your calendar shows as free, for the call type you set, such as a 20-minute discovery call. Anything it can’t answer comes to you. Every conversation is saved for you to check.

Starter is A$199 a month plus a one-time A$999 set-up fee, ex GST, with nothing billed by use. It answers typed enquiries only and doesn’t touch your phone. If clients ring, Growth is A$499 a month plus A$1,999 set-up, and you keep your number. Its calls and texts usually add A$30 to A$70 a month. Prices are locked in for your first 12 months.

No. It’s month to month, with no lock-in contract and no exit fee. Just give 30 days’ notice to cancel. The set-up fee isn’t refundable, except where the law requires it or for a billing error.

Firms whose enquiries arrive typed: recruitment and staffing agencies, consultants, marketing and creative agencies, IT and managed-service providers, architects and designers, training providers and property managers. It isn’t for GP and medical, dental and orthodontic, legal, accounting and tax, insurance broking, or financial services, including mortgage and finance brokers. Allied health and hearing clinics can use it for bookings and enquiries only.

See it answer an enquiry like yours.

Thirty minutes on a video call, no obligation. We run an enquiry from your field, so you see the reply your clients would get.
