Automated follow-ups: every quiet enquiry gets a friendly nudge
LeadGenie’s automated follow-ups pick up enquiries that go quiet. The AI assistant follows up, up to three times, on web chat, Facebook, Instagram or email, written from what they said, and stops the moment they reply. Built for Australian tradies and small businesses: from A$199 a month on Starter, plus A$999 set-up, ex GST.
Scroll back through last month’s messages and count the ones that just stop. Someone asked a price, you answered and asked one thing back, then nothing. It looks like a no. It almost never is: they got interrupted, or went to check with someone.
Asking again works, but it has no deadline, so it slides to the weekend. By then they’ve booked whoever wrote back first.
How it works
It asks again. It stops when they answer.
Three steps, all inside the hours you set. The rules for stopping matter more than the rules for sending.
It follows up
In three steps
Starter A$199 · web chat, social and email
They enquire, then go quiet
Someone asked you about a job and stopped replying before they booked or said no.
It writes from what they said
In your hours, in the channel they chose: their name, the date, the question they stopped at. Never “just checking in”.
Up to three, then it lets go
At gaps we agree with you. After the third it stops, and the conversation stays on their record.
It stops when
Anything tells it to
On every plan that follows up
They reply
Any reply at all, even “sorry, busy”. Whatever was still scheduled is cancelled.
They say no
“We’ve gone with someone else” or “not this year” ends it. No last try.
They ask it to
STOP, “unsubscribe” or “please don’t message me” is honoured straight away, in every channel.
They sound annoyed
If the last message reads as frustrated, it doesn’t follow up at all.
Follow-ups that send start at Starter. Reminders start at Get Organised, and texts need Growth or Pro, which include a mobile number.
01
Quiet enquiries followed up
Up to three follow-ups on web chat, Facebook, Instagram or email, written from what they said. Any reply cancels the rest.
02
Replies answered for you
When they write back, the AI assistant answers, picks up where it left off and books the job into your calendar.
03
Quiet quotes flagged
On Get Organised, the CRM shows which quotes haven’t moved in a week. On Pro, a custom workflow can chase them for you.
04
Booking reminders sent
Confirmations and reminders by email from Get Organised, with a link to move or cancel. By text on Growth. How booking works →
05
Calls followed up by text
On Growth, a call that doesn’t end in a booking gets a text from your included mobile. Missed call text back →
06
It won’t message strangers
No bought lists, no blasts, no specials to last year’s customers. Cold outreach is outside every plan, and our fair use policy says so.
Example
A quiet Facebook enquiry, booked.
Example business: an end-of-lease cleaner on Starter. One question, a silence and one follow-up.
Thu 9:12pm
She asks · Facebook
“hi how much for an end of lease clean, 2 bed unit in Kingswood? inspection is on the 3rd”
Thu 9:15pm
She stops replying
The assistant gives her a price range and asks if the carpets need steaming. Then nothing. It isn’t a no.
Fri 9:05am
Follow-up one · Facebook
“Morning Priya, no rush on the carpets. I can price it with and without them so you can decide. Are you still after a clean before the 3rd?”
Fri 12:48pm
She replies · Facebook
“sorry got busy!! without carpets. can you do the 1st?”
Fri 12:51pm
Booked · Your calendar
Follow-ups two and three are cancelled. It offers the 1st at 8am and she takes it. The booking lands in your calendar, and she gets an email confirmation.
A third follow-up still reads as a business that wants the work. A sixth reads as one that won’t leave people alone. Longer sequences book the odd extra job, and cost you the customers who never come back.
Running now for Employment Star, Dealia and Advantek Australia, set up by our team in Parramatta. Every follow-up says it’s from your business’s AI assistant, and everything it sends sits on the customer’s record. A person answers weekdays, 8:30am to 5:30pm.
The Spam Act
Not a newsletter or promotions tool
It follows up one enquiry, about that enquiry, only to the person who made it. Each message names your business, and STOP ends it. Specials and “it’s been a while” are marketing, and it doesn’t send them.
Then don't buy it
If you already chase every quiet one
If every enquiry gets an answer within the hour and a follow-up from you by lunchtime, you don’t need this. If nobody contacts you yet, that’s a marketing job, and we’ll say so on the demo.
Customer data is hosted in the United States, not sold, and not shared for anyone else’s purposes. Email follow-ups carry a way to unsubscribe, and STOP is honoured in every channel. How we disclose AI → · How we handle customer data →

Every figure is illustrative, not a promise. The weakest is the one in three who reply: a price that was too dear is still too dear after three polite messages. The three who asked it to stop are counted on purpose. Everything Starter does →
No. It only follows up people who contacted you, about their enquiry, at most three times. Each message names your business, and STOP works in every channel. We’re not lawyers, so check the Spam Act 2003 for your own business.
A short message written from the conversation: their name, the date they mentioned and the question they stopped at. We write the email wording with you, and you approve it before anything goes live.
On Starter and up, yes. Any reply cancels the follow-ups still waiting, and the AI assistant answers and books the job. On the Smart Tools plans, you reply yourself.
Follow-ups come with Starter: A$199 a month plus A$999 set-up, ex GST, with no call or text charges. Texts need Growth: A$499 a month plus A$1,999 set-up, with texts billed by use. Prices are locked in for your first 12 months. AI plan pricing →
Not on Starter: it follows up its own conversations, not quotes you sent yourself. On Get Organised (A$59), the CRM flags quotes that haven’t moved in a week. On Pro, a custom workflow can chase them for you. Quote follow-up messages you can copy →
