Our AI plans are unlimited, and we mean it: no message allowance, no minute bundle, nothing that runs out mid-month. What unlimited cannot mean is “anything at all, in any volume, for any purpose” — no provider on earth sells that. So this page prints the numbers, says what the plans are not for, and commits to telling you before we do anything about it.
Subject line “Fair usage”. If you are about to run a campaign or expect a busy month, tell us first — it is a conversation, not a breach.
The figures in clause 03 sit at roughly four to five times what a busy single-location business uses in a month. They exist so that “unlimited” is a claim we can stand behind, not a trapdoor.
It explains what “unlimited” covers on an AI plan, and what would be a misuse of it. It applies to you and to anyone you let use your account.
This policy is issued by Ashish Singh Pahil trading as Lead Genie Au (ABN 65 600 477 271), of Suite 106, Level 1, 93 George Street, Parramatta NSW 2150. It forms part of our terms of service and applies to the Starter, Growth and Pro AI plans.
It does not apply to the Smart Tools plans — Get Found, Get Organised and Get Connected. Those have no AI conversations, no phone line and no usage of any kind to meter. Nothing on this page changes them.
It binds you, your staff, and anyone else you give access to your account. If you engage a marketing agency, a contractor or a virtual assistant to work in your account, their use is your use.
Two reasons, and we would rather print both than pretend there is only one. The first is that our technology providers qualify their own unlimited plans with fair use policies, and can throttle, pause or suspend usage that degrades performance for everyone. We pass that through honestly rather than promise you something we cannot guarantee. The second is that an “unlimited” claim with no published edge is a claim we could not make accurately under the Australian Consumer Law.
Unlimited conversations and, on Growth and Pro, unlimited answered calls — for one business, answering the people who contact it. No allowance to run out.
On every AI plan, your assistant answers as many enquiries as arrive. There is no monthly message allowance, no bundle of minutes, and nothing that stops working partway through a month. On Growth and Pro the same applies to inbound calls: the AI answers every one, however many there are.
Three things define the scope, and all three are ordinary product facts rather than fine print:
Calls and text messages on Growth and Pro carry the published usage rates on our pricing page. That is the phone network, billed at cost-plus and itemised — it is not an AI limit, and this policy does not change it.
These are the figures at which we would pick up the phone to you. They are roughly four to five times what a busy business uses, and nothing happens automatically at them.
A “conversation” is one exchange with one person on one channel, however many messages it takes. Answered voice minutes are minutes your AI receptionist spends on inbound calls, rounded as your call records show them. On Pro, any specialist agent’s minutes count towards the same total.
For context: a busy single-location trade business on Growth typically runs a few hundred answered minutes and a few hundred conversations in a month. If you are nowhere near these numbers, this page is not about you.
These are not caps and they are not billing triggers. Nothing switches off, nothing is charged automatically, and a single busy month — a storm week, a campaign that worked, a competitor going under — is exactly what you are paying us for. Clause 07 says what actually happens.
Answering your enquiries: yes. Bulk campaigns, cold outreach, sharing the assistant with other businesses, or testing it to destruction: no.
The following are outside every AI plan. Where we see them, clause 07 or clause 08 applies depending on how serious it is.
If something you want to do sits near one of these lines, ask us before you do it. A planned campaign is a product conversation. An unplanned one is the only kind that ever becomes a problem.
Your plan covers calls the AI answers. Calls it makes are possible, but only if we set them up with you first.
The unlimited voice included with Growth and Pro is for inbound calls — the ones your customers make to you. Outbound AI calling, where the assistant rings someone, is not included in any plan.
We do build it where there is a legitimate reason: a callback to someone who left a message, a booking confirmation, a reminder before an appointment. It is arranged with us in advance, scoped, and priced separately, because outbound minutes cost several times what inbound ones do and because the compliance obligations in clause 06 are stricter when you are the one initiating contact.
Outbound calling arranged in this way is never a way to run a calling campaign. If the purpose is to reach a list of people rather than to return contact with one, the answer is no.
Messages go out in your name, so the consent behind them has to be yours. Keep records, honour opt-outs, and keep marketing off the line.
Your AI assistant communicates as your business. Under the Spam Act 2003 (Cth), the Do Not Call Register Act 2006 (Cth) and the related industry codes, you are the sender. You agree that:
We help where we can: replies to an enquiry are permitted contact, opt-out handling is built into the assistant, and we will tell you if something you have asked for looks like it needs consent you may not have. We cannot give you legal advice, and we cannot carry your consent obligations for you.
A spam or do-not-call complaint does not stop at your account. It can put the phone number, and in serious cases our accounts with our technology providers, at risk for every business we serve. That is the real reason clause 04 rules out bulk sending, and it is why we would rather lose a sale than switch one on.
We ring you. Nothing is charged automatically, nothing is switched off, and you decide what happens next with us.
Passing a figure in clause 03 is not a breach of anything. It usually means your business is growing, which is the point of the product. What happens is:
We do not publish an excess rate, because we would rather look at the account than apply a formula to it. If we cannot agree, either of us can end the plan on the ordinary terms: month to month, no exit fee, no minimum stay.
None of this applies to the usage rates for calls and texts on Growth and Pro. Those are published, itemised and billed monthly as normal.
Only for something serious — unlawful use, a security or spam problem, or action by one of our technology providers. Not for being busy.
We may limit, pause or suspend some or all of your service where:
Where we can, we contact you first and give you a chance to fix it. Where we cannot — because the risk is immediate or someone else requires it — we act first and tell you what happened and why as soon as possible, in writing.
We do not throttle quietly. If we have limited anything on your account, you will be told, and we will tell you what has to change for it to be lifted. If a suspension is our decision and it turns out we got it wrong, the time lost is credited to your next invoice.
Our technology providers can restrict or suspend usage that degrades their service, and that right sits above ours. We will tell you promptly and work with them on your behalf, but we cannot promise it will never happen.
This policy does not cut down any right the Australian Consumer Law gives you.
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law, including that they will be supplied with due care and skill, be reasonably fit for a purpose you have told us about, and be supplied within a reasonable time. Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or modifies any of those rights or remedies.
Because our services are not of a kind ordinarily acquired for personal, domestic or household use, and to the extent the law permits, our liability for failing to comply with a consumer guarantee is limited to supplying the services again or paying the cost of having them supplied again — except where it would not be fair or reasonable for us to rely on that limitation.
If you think we have applied this policy unfairly, say so: email [email protected] with “Fair usage” in the subject line and we will answer within 5 business days. You can also take a complaint to the ACCC or to your state consumer affairs office, and we will not hold that against you or your account.
30 days’ notice of anything that matters, and you can leave in that window without penalty.
We may update this policy — figures move as the product and the software providers we use change. Where a change would materially affect you, including any reduction in the figures in clause 03, we give you at least 30 days’ written notice before it takes effect, and you may cancel within that period with no exit fee and no further monthly charge.
The version number and effective date at the top of this page change every time the policy does. Superseded versions are kept and available on request. A fair usage policy that can be rewritten silently is not a policy — it is a licence to change the deal after you have bought.
This policy sits alongside our terms of service, which govern your plan, the AI plan pricing, where the published call and text rates live, and our AI disclosure and responsible AI position. Where this policy and the terms of service disagree, the terms of service prevail.
